Drama 6/Acting/Page to Stage
Teacher at Menlo School
Menlo School's middle school drama program introduces students to theater through fun, hands-on learning in grades 6 to 8. Sixth graders take a quarter-long drama course focused on expressive skills and the basics of stagecraft, while seventh and eighth graders can select drama electives like "From Page to Stage" and "Acting". Students participate in group activities, learn improv, develop confidence and creativity, and showcase their talents in annual plays and musicals, including this fall's production of The Snow Queen by Mrs. Evelyn Merritt, adapted from the Hans Christian Andersen fable.
