ABOUT ME

Resume and Experience

Eve La Puma is a theater teacher at Quarry Lane School in Dublin, CA. She is a teacher and performance artist drawn to the intersection between art, activism, and education. Eve has taught at Deerfield Academy, interned at the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin, created an after-school music program for immigrant and refugee families at the non-profit Mary House, and helped create several new theatrical works, including the musical She Persisted which later moved to a sold-out Off-Broadway run. Eve enjoys making music-especially with her sisters, reading books with magical realism, petting cats, and cooking food to share with others.

Theater Teaching Fellow

    Deerfield Academy (2021-Present)

  • Teach Acting classes to 9-12 graders

  • Lead the Fall Playwriting Workshop and put on staged readings of student work

  • Co-directed and co-vocal directed the spring musical

  • Provide live in support for junior and senior boarding school students as a Dorm Resident

    Mary House: Serving the Immigrant and Refugee Community in the DC Area (2020-2021)

  • Wrote grants to fund Mary House food, housing, and after-school programs

  • Delivered weekly produce bags to 30+ families through the Food Program

Summer Intern at The Gaiety School of Acting

   The National Theatre School of Ireland (2019).
